Happy birthday to us!

On Halloween The Lucky Artist Theater Company will celebrate our third birthday!

To celebrate The Lucky Artist are getting social and having a $50 gift card give away for our Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr followers.  There are three ways to qualify for a chance to win.

1. Follow us on Twitter and mention us @theluckyartist in one of your tweets.

2. Follow us on Tumblr at theluckyartistco.tumblr.com.

3. "Like" us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/theluckyartistco and post a comment on our page.

EACH of these three things will give you a chance to win a $50 gift card to your choice of Barnes and Noble or iTunes. Entries must be made by Friday November 4th at 5pm. One winner will be randomly drawn and contacted to let us know where to send their gift card. If winner doesn't respond in 48 hours, we'll draw a second winner (and so on). Good luck!

The Shorebound Swim With a One Click Kick: A Tragedy of Reason has been fully cast and creative team assembled for it Frigid NYC debut!

Written by Lucky Artist company member Markus Paminger and directed by Lucky Artist's Alison Carroll, The Shorebound Swim cast will include William Kozy as our isolated scientist Nicholas, Robin Madel as his desperate caretaker, Nicko Libowitz as the wide-eyed lust and love struck Victor and Emma Worth as the former "working lady" Natalie.  Tim McMath will be designing our set and Renee Levine working on sound design.

The Lucky Artists are thrilled to announce our next project! This February The Lucky Artists will participate in the NYC Frigid Festival (appropriately named) with company member Markus Paminger's play The Shorebound Swim With a One Click Kick: A Tragedy of Reason.  The NYC Frigid Festival is the first official Fringe Festival of the season in the North American circuit and we're pleased to be a part of it! Details regarding venue and dates to come. 

The Shorebound Swim With a One Click Kick is gripping drama that connects the cerebral with matters of the heart. as a genius removes himself from society and attempts to unlock the science behind the secrets of human existence; a boy  gets his first taste of love, lust and betrayal; and a desperate caretaker struggles to control her destiny.
